Riyadh — Saudi Arabia is gearing up to make history with the opening of Six Flags Qiddiya City, its first Six Flags amusement park, scheduled for late 2025. The project, part of the Kingdom’s ambitious Vision 2030, aims to position Qiddiya as a global entertainment and tourism hub.
A New Era of Entertainment in Saudi Arabia
The amusement park is being developed by Qiddiya Investment Company in collaboration with Six Flags Entertainment. It will showcase 28 rides spread across six themed lands, including five attractions designed to set new world records.
The Falcon’s Flight – A Record-Breaking Roller Coaster
The highlight of the park is the much-anticipated Falcon’s Flight. Expected to become the world’s tallest, fastest, and longest roller coaster, it will reach speeds of 250 km/h on a 4.2 km track. This groundbreaking ride is set to redefine thrill experiences worldwide.
Driving Economic Growth
With multibillion-dollar investment, Six Flags Qiddiya is projected to create thousands of jobs and attract millions of visitors annually. Authorities say the park will play a vital role in diversifying the Saudi economy while promoting tourism and leisure industries.
Vision 2030 in Action
This initiative aligns perfectly with Vision 2030, which seeks to reduce reliance on oil revenues by strengthening tourism, culture, and entertainment. By launching world-class attractions like Falcon’s Flight, Saudi Arabia is stepping onto the global stage as a leader in mega entertainment projects.
